Publications
Research related to the Ohio Survey of Food, Agriculture, and
Environmental Issues is reported through a variety of documents,
including public reports, academic publications, and
presentations to public and academic audiences. Materials and
citations of documents developed from this survey research are
grouped into the following seven categories to assist in finding
materials of interest.
- General Interest - Overview
documents describing a broad range of survey findings from a particular year as well
as some materials describing changes in select responses across time.
- Agriculture - Materials related
to general and specific attitudes toward agriculture, including topics such as agrarianism
and the role of social distance from farming's impact on support of farming.
- Animal Welfare - Materials related
to attitudes about animal welfare, ranging from food animal to pet animal topics.
- Energy - Materials covering energy
related subjects, including household adjustments to energy costs and perceptions of energy security.
- Food - Materials covering a range of food
related subjects, including: food safety; food and health; local, organic, and
functional food attitudes and behaviors.
- Land-Use - Materials related to attitudes
about land-use and farmland preservation.
